District Grand Prefect

R.W,Bro. Peter Talbot J.P.

Admitted to Great Orme No5 in 2011, a Past Master of Great Orme Council and Founder and Primus Master of Deiniol Council No. 278.

Installed as District Grand Prefect of Cheshire and North Wales by Most Worshipful Brother Thomas Firth Jackson, Grand Master at Christleton in March 2019. A Welsh speaker, born and bred in North Wales, a Past Provincial Grand Master of the Mark Province of North Wales from position he retired in June 2020 after holding the Office for 8 years. A Member of the Grand Masters Royal Ark Council (Hon. Causa) in which he served from 2016 to 2020.

Brian B. Williams
Deputy Grand Prefect

Brian Benjamin Williams, Deputy District Grand Prefect, P.G.S.D.

A member of Wirral Emeritus Council No. 169 into which he was admitted in 2007 , also a member of Stayley Council No.41 which he joined in 2013 and was Worshipful Master of that Council in 2015, he has recently joined Shuttleworth Council. Brian was District Grand Secretary from 2011 until his appointment as District Deputy Grand Prefect in March 2023. Brian holds Grand Rank in many Orders and his Administrative skills are second to none.

 

Dennis Schiff
Senior Warden

W. Bro. Dennis Schiff, DistGSW

Dennis has been a member of the Allied Degrees since 1990 and is currently the Worshipful Master of Commemoration Council having served as Worshipful Master of Matier Council as far back as 1995. Dennis received his first District Rank in the District of East Lancashire and is a very active Freemason.

He holds high Rank in many orders and was most recently appointed Assistant Provincial Grand Summus in the Scarlet Cord. He holds office as Treasurer in a number of Lodges and Councils.

Very supportive of the Allied Degrees.

Ian Perkin
Junior Warden

W.Bro. Ian Perkin DistGJW

W. Bro. Ian Perkin was Admitted into Great Orme Council No. 5 in 2014 and became a founder of Deiniol Council at the Consecration of that Council in 2018.

A great supporter of the Allied Degrees he is always willing to put in that extra effort to assist any Council, Ian regularly steps in at very short notice to fill Offices. Ian received his first  District Appointment in 2020 and is now rewarded be promotion to District Grand Junior Warden.

He is a Grand Officer in the Mark Degree and holds RAMGR, indeed, quite remarkably, Ian is a subscribing member of no less than 7 Mark  Lodges and 3 RAM Lodges.

Great commitment from a hardworking  and well respected brother.

 

John D. Aslatt
Treasurer

 

W.Bro. John David Aslatt   P.Grand Stwd 

Appointed as District Treasurer in 2019 whilst still the Acting Dist Grand Senior Warden, John was Admitted into Hugh Lupus Council No. 51 in 2007.

He was Installed as Master of that Council in 2012 and is currently Treasurer of the Council.

He has previously held District Rank in the DC Section.

Ian D.Stone
Secretary

Admitted into the Allied Degrees at Stayley Council in 2013 and was Worshipful Master of that Council in 2018, and is currently a member of Great Orme Council. He has held  District Grand Rank since 2019 and was appointed District Grand Secretary in March 2023.

Ian holds high Office in many Orders and is an enthusiastic member of the Allied Degrees, his Administrative skills have already shown their prominence in organising the 2023 Allied District Meeting.

Bro. Peter Crompton
Director of Ceremonies

 

W.Bro.Peter Crompton, PGStB, 

Bro. Peter Crompton was admitted into Stayley Council in 2001 and Installed into the chair in 2007 and remained as Worshipful Master until 2010, he is presently the Junior Deacon of that Council.

Since receiving his first District Appointment in 2011 he has held District Office as District Grand Senior Deacon and District Grand Junior Warden.

In October 2021 he received his Allied Grand Rank, Past Grand Standard Bearer.

Peter is very supportive of other Progressive Orders and holds Grand Rank in the Knights Templar and Provincial Grand Rank in the Mark and Royal Ark Mariner Degrees.

Meticulous in his work he is looking forward to this new challenge as District Grand Director of Ceremonies.
